William F. Addington, 83, of Covington passed away Monday, October 3, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Edgewood. He is retired from Reliance Medical Products, a member of Oakland Avenue Baptist Church and proudly served his country in the US Army. William is preceded in death by his wife Gertrude Mae Addington (nee Thompson) and oldest son Frank Addington. He is survived by daughters Beth (Bruce) Strange of Independence, Jennifer Lykins of Lakeside Park, Rebecca (Stan Sr.) Sammons of Erlanger and Julia Addington of Latonia; sons Tommy (Teresa) Addington of Florence, Randy Addington of Florence, Kenny (Shannon) Addington of Latonia, Rusty Addington of Covington and Jamie (Paula) Addington of Florence; 30 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday, October 7, 2011 from 11am until time of service 1pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
