William Baird Jr.

William “Bill” Baird,

75, of Alexandria, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020. Bill proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam Era. He enjoyed fishing, the great outdoors and was proud of his Indian Heritage. Bill mostly enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his mother Opal Baird; nieces Nannette (Jerry) Setser, Amy Brummett, April Langdon, Farrah (Spencer) Stravinskas, Tara Roberts, and Cassie Baird; nephew Christopher (Melanie) Langdon; grandchildren Tyler and Dominic Baird; sister Patsy Bradley; many extended family members and friends. Bill is preceded in death by his daughter Angela Baird, father William Baird Sr. and brother Jerry Baird. A Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Friday, September 11, 2020 from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. Burial with military honors will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions suggested to Floral Hills Funeral Home to help off set the cost of Funeral Services. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic please remember to wear a mask and practice social distancing while attending the Funeral Service’s for Mr. Baird.
