William Andrew Dotson,
56, of Clemmons, North Carolina, passed away on June 1, 2017 at St. Elizabeth, Edgewood after a long, hard fought battle with cancer. Andy was born on December 30, 1960 to the late James T. and Jean Dotson. He was an avid hunter and loved watching Fox News.
Andy is survived by his sons Technical Sergeant Michael Dotson and his wife Beth, currently stationed in Germany, Doyle Bankins of Clemmons, North Carolina; sister and primary caregiver Patricia Fulmer of Covington, Kentucky, Laura (Randy) Moore of Harrisville, West Virginia; brothers Michael T (Rhonda) Dotson of Walton, Kentucky, Joseph Dotson of Union, Kentucky, Donald (Theresa) Dotson of Clemmons North Carolina; and fiancé Annette Jones of Clemmons, North Carolina; grandchildren Zayn Dotson and Kaylin Dotson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Andy was preceded in death by his brothers Ted and Tom Dotson and his son Drew Mergy.
In lieu of Flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Floral Hills Funeral Home in Andy's name.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 11 am at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
