William Rider Sr

William Stanley Rider, Sr. age 84 of Verona, KY passed away on July 10, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. He retired from the Teamsters Local 100 as a Truck Driver after 35 years of service. He had a great love for his Church and his Family. A member of Philadelphia Church of God and he enjoyed being a farmer as well as an Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by a Daughter: Rebecca Suzanne Rider and a Son: William Stanley Rider, Jr. William is survived by his Loving Wife of 57 years: Doris Mae Rider; Daughter: Dorenda Leigh Rider; Son: Ricki Allen Rider (Tracy); Sisters: Lillian Elliott and Delores Click; Grandchildren: Amiee, Corey, Lacey, Chelsea, Caitlynne, Justin and Nick; Great Grandchildren: Thomas, Cameron, Isabella and Kenya. The Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Taylor Mill, KY from 10 AM until the Service at 12 PM. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
