William Joseph “Bill” “Billy” Singleton, age 64, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY. Bill was known for his vibrant personality, his love for music, and his ability to bring joy and laughter to everyone around him.
Born on August 22, 1959, in Cincinnati, OH, Bill spent his life cultivating his passions. He was an avid music enthusiast, dedicating countless hours to collecting albums and CDs. His love for music was a cornerstone of his life, providing him with endless joy and a deep connection to the art.
Bill also had a unique fascination with Coca-Cola bottles and memorabilia, amassing an impressive collection over the years. His keen eye for detail and appreciation for nostalgia were evident in his carefully curated assortment of items.
A devoted boxing fan, Bill found great enjoyment in watching matches, often sharing his excitement and insights with friends and family. His enthusiasm for the sport was contagious, making every fight night a special occasion.
Perhaps most memorable was Bill’s extraordinary sense of humor. He was known for his silliness and ability to make people laugh, brightening even the darkest days with his quick wit and playful antics. His laughter was infectious, and his presence brought warmth and happiness to all who knew him.
Preceding William in death were his parents, Frank and Anna Mae Singleton and three brothers, Frankie Singleton, Barry Singleton and Ronal Singleton.
Bill's legacy is one of joy, humor, and a genuine love for life. Those left surviving to carry on that legacy include his loving wife of 46 years, Connie Singleton; children, William (Cheryl) Singleton, Jr., Sabrina Singleton and Michael Singleton; siblings, Rosemary Shabash, Daniel Singleton, Dennis Singleton, Brenda Bhatti, Marsha Black, David Singleton and Donna Lefker; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who are now emptier upon his passing.
A visitation celebrating William’s life will take place from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Floral Hills Funeral Home ~ Chapel A, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. William will then be laid to rest peacefully at Floral Hills memorial Gardens Cemetery.
