William Whalen

William “Bill” Whalen 61 of Southgate Ky. passed away peacefully in his sleep August 26, 2020 next to his loving wife of 41 years. Bill loved above all things his family, fishing, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He prided himself in his family and enjoyed teaching everyone of us to fish. He is survived by his wife Patricia Whalen, Daughter Heather Fritsch (Anthony Fritsch), Son Bill Whalen (Jackie Whalen), Son Nick Whalen. He will always be remembered by his 9 grandchildren: Kyle (Krysty), Anthony, Sydney, Brooklyn, Albany Fritsch, Billy and Elvis Whalen, Abby and Bella Whalen. He is also remembered by his loving sisters Shelia Jenkins (Tim Jenkins), Alane Whalen, Misty Johns (Daniel Johns), as well as his nieces, nephew, and extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents William C. Whalen and Mary E. Whalen (Raines), Donna and Homer Scaggs. An open visitation will take place at Floral Hills Funeral Home on September 5, 2020 beginning at 10 am until the time of the funeral services which will begin at 12pm.
