Winona Duckworth

Winona Mickey, Died Wednesday, June 22nd at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood. She was born in the mountains of Perry Co. KY. She married her husband Edward Van Duckworth on Dec 14, 1961. He preceded her in death in Nov 1984. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Covington where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir for more than 70 years. She is survived by her son James (wife April) Duckworth of Lucasville, OH; daughters Katherine Ann (husband Jim) Hanson of Flemingsburg, KY and Susan (husband Bob) Sendelbach of Pendleton Co, KY; sisters Golden Shook of Norwood, OH and Felcia McIntyre of Stanton, KY; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday, June 27th from 10am until time of service 1pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Interment following at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
