Christine Valentine

Christine Louise Walden Valentine passed away on Monday July 21, 2014 at Jefferson Manor Nursing Home in Louisville KY at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alphonse (Fonce) and Ruth Ann Davidson Walden, as well as her husband of 64 years, Elbert Valentine. Christine was the last of 8 children. She worked at Meyer Meatpacking as well as Central Trust Bank, both in Cincinnati, OH, and later as a Realtor in Northern KY with Sanzenbacker Real Estate. Mrs. Valentine was a Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star Dora Chapter #2 for multiple terms. She is survived by one daughter, Ruth Ann Herzog (Larry) of Louisville KY, Grandchildren; Chris Miles, Lisa Waring (James), and Susan Clinkscales (Mike), Great Grandchildren; Drew, Jacob, Claire, Jonathan, Matthew, Michael, and Madelynne. The Visitation will be on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Taylor Mill, KY from 10 AM until Services at 12:30 PM. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
