Richard Wilson

Richard Allen Wilson died at his home in Taylor Mill, Kentucky on October 27, 2014 at the age of 83.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his daughter, Mara Wilson, and his brother Marvin Wilson who both currently reside in Texas. Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Beulah Wison of Kansas City, MO, his wife, Joyce, and his older brother Ronald.
Mr. Wilson was born on November 11, 1930. He married Joyce Annette Gates, and they welcomed the birth of their daughter, Mara in 1965. For most of his life, Mr. Wilson worked as an electrical engineer. He was a member of the Swope Park Masonic Lodge #617 in Kansas City, and was a master mason. Mr. Wilson was a loving husband, father and friend. Mr. Wilson was also a ham radio fan and enjoyed spending time with his friends pursuing this past time.
Mr. Wilson will be cremated and there will be a private visitation in Cincinnati. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City or an animal shelter of your choice.
